The Kuba-lodge is located in the southern part of the Gambia in the Western Region in a town called Gunjur. It is about 30 minutes drive from the Banjul International airport. This Kuba-lodge is absolutely fantastic, from the solar panels on the roof to the vegetable garden, composting toilets and fresh water bathroom and also just few minutes walk from the clean beach side of the Atlantic Ocean; you simply won’t find a green fault with this place. The back garden attracts a multitude of birds, rooms are spacious, the menu varied and the family lodge is like a massage for tired parents.

We have our own superb fresh food restaurant with regular dancing and drumming evenings. The sandy, remote and quite calm beach is just few hundreds of meter away from the Kuba Lodge and it is a few minutes of walk from the lodge.
